After spending the past few years making huge ambitious artworks in bronze and glass Penny has been back having fun in the studio, making new works in ceramics and plaster for her next solo show.

2016 was a Brutal year for many people, and these new works are Penny's personal response.

She doesn't shy away from addressing some of the biggest issues - Climate Change and melting polar icecaps, the war in Syria, and the bombardment of Aleppo, The Royal Commission into Child Sexual Abuse, the ivory trade, the migrant crisis in Europe, slut shaming, off-shore detention of asylum seekers, and of course the new President of the United States.

It's work that packs a punch, but with her signature dose of humour thrown in for good measure.
